Give it a few days, then come back, create a non HCIM account and just enjoy the community without focussing too much on making progress. Just as RuneScape, you never leave 2009scape, you only take breaks.

His ban probably only has to do with him being a public figure, so that people will think Jagex is actually doing something about the "problem".

Will that then also mean you'll do more with the info you gather? As in Youtube content or anything? Or is this something you want to prove to yourself (and fellow people on 2009scape)?

Why do you think it only has a 5% chance? Is banning on OSRS pretty much non existent?
