Re: [construction] why this change is bad
no need to, I was just answering your question. construction as a whole more or less needs a rewrite, but non-dungeon stuff has at least been reasonably well tested at this point and we know there's no catastrophic bugs with it. the same is not true for dungeons, which you couldn't even enter until ...

Re: [construction] why this change is bad
A prerequisite to reintroducing dungeons is rewriting them, essentially.

Re: [construction] why this change is bad
the dungeon is disabled, because like most of construction, no one on this team or who has ever worked on this specific project has ever put any work into it, and we get enough bug reports for problems we didn't create and garbage we didn't implement already.

Re: flatpak laggy single player
That confirms it then. @Red Bracket, you need to ignore the client included with singleplayer, and just use whatever the launcher is bundled with. You could trivially make the launcher launch the client with the local server profile.

Re: flatpak laggy single player
Then that would confirm the issue, Droll, and that it aligns with 216598762's symptoms. More confirmation from them would be nice, though. Then we know what the root cause is and who's responsible

Re: flatpak laggy single player
I'm not sure how singleplayer is currently integrated into the launcher, thus the questions I've had so far. It was done recently. Before then, it was an independent distribution that didn't directly integrate with the launcher.

Re: flatpak laggy single player
If this alleviates the issues, it also explains why multiplayer works fine for you. The answer would be that the client bundled with SP and being incorrectly used by the SP button in the launcher is severely out of date.

Re: flatpak laggy single player
Alright, try something for me. Can you launch the singleplayer server jar directly with java, and then independently, using the Launcher, connect to the "Local Server" profile with the correct Launcher-managed client?

Re: flatpak laggy single player
concerning, as the singleplayer should just be going off the built-in plugin management system the launcher has. At least, that would be the expectation. It seems the implementer of singleplayer could simultaneously be shipping an old client and old plugins by default? Concerning.
