Witches house quest
I have the diary in my inventory.
I have read the diary cover to cover many times.
I cannot retrieve the key from the fountain. Continues to insist that there's nothing there.
I have attempted to get a new diary "after" going underground to get the magnet, thinking somehow the instancing was an issue or something. Anyways, still no key for me.

If you're in a single player world and trying to work around this bug, the Item ID for the key to get in the shed is 2411. I hope this helps.
