Registration / Login problem

I just registered on the stable server using auto-type from the password manager for the password and password confirmation fields. When trying to login, again using auto-type from password manager, the password seems invalid. The username is still taken and I cannot re-register.

Is the registration or login flow from within the client broken?

No, it's definitely not broken. Did you follow the rules about the allowed passwords? (12 characters max, passwords are case-sensitive.)

Edit: As proof it's not broken, I just registered and logged into a new account just fine. Issue is definitely with something you did.

I've taken a password of 20 characters (including special characters). Are special characters an issue and is there a way to reset it?

sorry, 20 chars is the password max. 12 is the username max. My bad on that. Some special characters can be an issue, but not the usual ones (!@#$%^&*)

As for resetting it, you can request a password reset from @ryannathans on discord if you can provide proof you own the account. (in this case, it should be reasonably easy, as the account doesn't even have progress.)
