Connecting to update server problem

Connecting to update server problem
So i tried to play singleplayer but it just shows (RuneScape is loading - please wait... | connecting to update server.) but it never does anything. Ive even pressed the update server thing in the singleplayer section. Then i tried to play multiplayer to see if that would work but it doesnt. Please help!
