The NPC(s) appear to be unable to attack or retaliate against
What did you expect to happen?
Able to attack
Are there any relevant item/npc IDs? (use ::debug command in chat)

This has happened a lot to me.
Noticed it was typically the smaller crab(s) rather than the larger ones.
