What did you do?
1. New Character
2. Instead of following instructions, I talked to the 2009scape guide.
3. Dialogue opens to "Please follow the onscreen instructions!"
4. Click on "Click here to continue".
5. "Please wait..." response then the dialogue screen remains up endlessly

What happened?

5. "Please wait..." response then the dialogue screen remains up endlessly

I can workaround this issue by clicking on the skip NPC.


What did you expect to happen? (Provide a source from runescape wiki/youtube/etc if possible)
When I select "Click here to continue", either a new line of dialogue is fetched, or the dialogue is closed.

Are there any relevant item/npc IDs? (use ::debug command in chat)
NPC 945, index 2996
Continue OPT Iface:241 Child:5 Slot:65535

Fairly easy to reproduce.

Have you reproduced it on the test server? If so, what are the steps?
Not as yet, as I'm a brand new player and I don't know what that is.
