It was Bushtail, who was pushing back against my comments where I was quite frankly overreacting and being a bit obnoxious (again, sorry for that Ceik) He did in the exchange call me dense but swiftly stopped after I told him not to make it a personal thing.

Ah, I think I assumed having a rank in the clan meant that he was like a pmod of sorts. Mb

You receive a silver crown if you are a pmod. Non-crown clan ranks are a way to highlight contributors for their efforts. Contributing does not make you staff.

Ah okay, thank you very much for clearing that up for me, I totally forgot to consider that he was a contributor. I am a bit embarrassed in the way I received the new update and the language I used, so for a final time I'd like to apologize and moving forward I'd like to be more respectful toward you guys and gals that are working hard. Thank you.

Now onto the subject at hand:

It's clear you believe the bright green is too bright, and we've established forest green is too dark. Do you have any other suggestions?

:D
I spent the last hour spamming many different colors to test, which I have to admit was a more difficult job than I imagined.
A small consensus started to emerge around a shade of orange because it seemed to be the most attractive and wouldn't blend in with much.

A few of us really liked #f1b04c it is a pale orange that is actually quite visible and pretty neutral.

We tried a pale orange as well, and decided it would be too similar to CC colors. Does this shade share the same issues?

This particular shade actually looked much brighter than CC and a lot less red to me, I would say it's pretty distinctive overall

This particular shade looks to me a lot brighter than CC, I would say it kind of resembles a beige with a slight orange tone and to me it looks quite distinct from even the dark orange news text.
