Singleplayer GE Bots - do they ever buy from Player?

As title says. I've been playing for about 10 hours and slowly but surely GE is stocked up. But no-one seems to buy my offers. Are there any special requirements for my stuff to be bought by bots?

Also - will bots every sell teleports? Painful to play without them.

I have 250 bots
Pre-loaded map = true

Everything else is default.

I don't think so, but that would be a cool feature

It would require spontaneously producing GP from thin air and then putting that into the player's pocket.

for this reason, the feature exists under the "i_want_to_cheat" configuration line in the default.conf file. because spawning items is cheating.

How would the player make any gold without GE? We can't really afford anything sold by bots if we can't sell ourselves...

Maybe it's a OSRS mentality speaking... but if you have any suggestions it would be great. I rather not turn on the autobuy... but without some ways to benefit from bots I dunno...

- Daily Stars (50k a day)
- Daily Jobs (~20k a day)
- Agility Pyramid (10k per lap!)
- Pyramid Plunder (at high levels it produces quite a large sum of GP.)
- High Alchemy (Infinite gold a day) combined with any method of obtaining valuable items (skilling, pvm, etc)
- Selling items to the wilderness bandit store at near-high-alch price (infinite gold a day)
- and much more

It is 100% an OSRS mindset speaking.

The same way the gold that is on the GE being used to pay for your goods was made to begin with.

Oh, and if you do the lumbridge easy diary (not the beginner, the easy), you get a ring that gives you 30 free low alch casts a day, too! So not only is that free magic XP, it's free GP from alching your valuables.

Thanks for the feedback. I totally get it. To be fair all I needed to do is Google how Iron-man in OSRS makes money.

I see. So now its a choice. Tough gold earning via iron-man style but fair economy. Or cheating and GE acts basically as a NPC store. Fair enough.


Having said that - getting bots to NEED things could be cool. Like food, ore and stuff. Bots do make money from us - so it could inject GP into the GE economy where they could afford things too.

Bots don't make anything, buying from bots on the GE functions as a potent gold sink. A live server needs ways for gold to disappear from the game, and the bots are one of them.
