Something that's also likely to catch you off guard about 2009 is that slayer monsters and bosses don't produce slurries of unrelated skilling resources. That was an OSRS change for the most part, copying what RS3 did to its economy. Most of the resources you need you'll need to gather yourself if you play singleplayer, which IMO is precisely what you signed up for

Indeed! Now that I know it makes sense. I wanted a Runescape game with faster skilling and play by myself. The bot GE is already a nice positive to help out but rest is on me.
