can't load game stuck on "updating client"

been playing over a year haven't had a single issue and now the client just says "updating client" and when i click launch nothing happens. I reupdated java to make sure and i have been using this client over a year without issues. Any advice ? thank you

You're using the old launcher, I'm guessing? We announced that was being replaced about a year ago, and last week we finalized its replacement.

Ok apologies I did not read that nor knew that was the name of the client I just always had it and it updated when I ran it that’s why. I also took a hiatus from playing for a few months and it worked this past month I’ve been back. I just tried to use the new Sara launcher and followed the steps to connect it to my Java but it’s been stuck on updating as well.

if saradomin is also stuck, the issue is most likely with your network.

Ok I will have to review that I never had an issue with my network I just want to make sure I have the right Java in the section where you are supposed to connect. I am sorry I am not trying to come off like an idiot I am just not a tech savvy person at trying to learn while not wasting your time.
