How do I fix this?

MacOS, latest version of Java

I get it when the client is loading world list data. It just gets stuck and posts this error message.

Live server? What launcher are you using - you're probably dangerously out of date.

Do you get prompted for an "Unsupported Java Version" at start?

Image

It seems to work for me even though I'm on Java 15 (m1, MacOS 12.5)

This wouldn't cause the worldlist error Bracket.

Unsupported Java Version warning is because HD only works on 11 or lower. Ergo, it is unsupported to go higher as you will have issues that we will not fix.

Worldlist error occurs when someone can't connect to the server. This user can't connect because they are most likely severely out of date, and we have changed some of the ports within the last month or so.

If it's not due to being out of date, it's due to being on a restricted network.

this error most commonly occurs when someone can't access the world list port - are there any firewalls, proxies, or mobile providers that might be blocking non-web ports? the client updating etc happens over standard web ports but the world list is some random port number that's probably getting blocked by something

could also happen on machines that have ipv6 only and broken/no ipv4 (again, usually mobile providers)
