Some users were having trouble after downloading the Mac client from https://2009scape.org/site/game_guide/play.html
If the launcher is opening with Textedit:
Follow these instructions (provided by bushtail):
1. Open terminal
2. Navigate to where you downloaded the file
3. sudo chmod +x filename
4. Input password
5. Profit
If you're seeing "[2009scape] cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer"
Instead of double-clicking the 2009scape file to open it, do this:
1. Right Click -> Open on the 2009scape file
2. Profit
(PS - Much of the development team recommends using Linux since that is the best supported. If you're dual booting, grab our Linux client of Flathub)
