List of subtle things Jagex significantly buffed in OSRS

This list is obviously inconclusive, but should serve as a general link for when someone thinks OSRS is a good source for authenticity. It's also a good reminder that if you had a time machine and went back 20 years, you would probably suck at the game.

* Multilogging
* (Anything Runelite)
* Pest Control (like 8 different ways)
* Fishing Trawler
* Barbarian Assault
* Prayer Flicking
* Equipment switching cooldown
* Quest NPC wander range
* Random Events
* Clue Scrolls (like 10 different ways)
* Drop Tables (for like every Slayer NPC and boss)
* Slayer Task Rolling

The reason "Subtle" is in the title is because these are things people tend to forget. Things like bare-handed implings/deaths/etc aren't included because it's well known those were a huge buff.

- Blast Furnace, bars were made to automatically cool over time. Before OSRS, this was just a rumor in RS2 and isn't actually how it worked (confirmed multiple times on the RS2 wiki), but OSRS ran with it and buffed the bars to autocool.

- Fairy Rings: OSRS added several completely undocumented fairy rings that on the wiki they claim "have existed since OSRS release." This is trivially disprovable by loading up an older RS2 cache and looking in the areas of those fairy rings. They are not there.

- Random Events: OSRS neutered random events, making them impotent. In RS2, there were abundant hostile random events, as well as all the non-hostile randoms being MANDATORY.

This thread/post to be updated when I remember more, because there's a lot, a LOT, more.
