[Quest] King Roald not completely invulnerable & respawns in lumby.

During the confrontation near the end of What lies below quest, King roald is supposed to become invulnerable and stay on 1hp zo you can summon Zaff in to trigger the ending/cutscene.
However if he becomes poisoned, he will die and respawn in Lumbridge, not attackable.
The peasant respawns in Lumbridge lol
Cannot interact with him in any way.
note:
The quest just puts you back in the library to start the fight over, still completable.
Expected behavior:
Trigger to make him invulnerable should also remove poison status. (and other status effects that deal DoT)
or simply make him immune to status effects.
