Thank you for the suggestion, however, after performing a clean installation with the studio driver, it did not seem to do anything to alleviate the situation. I appreciate the assistance so far but I have decided to continue with SD instead of HD.

With the exception occurring in native nvidia code (and not java code), I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

Do you have anything unusual about your setup? Do you have HDR enabled, or gsync?

Did you try the legacy client profile in saradomin? SP ships with the experimental client which has had some graphical reworks in this area

Additionally, your java 16 test was still using java 11.

You, my friend, are the most beautiful person I have met. You are a genius. After giving up and going to sleep, I decided to attempt Sara Launcher again but this time I disabled g-sync & reduced my laptop's display scaling to 100%. Voila! It worked. Thank you to everyone who has assisted! I appreciate you guys!

hoo boy where do we begin.

1. you use windows 11, and it's really not going to be doing you any favours here.
2. it sounds to me like your windows installation is genuinely not working properly

my suggestions:
install windows 10
completely uninstall and reinstall Java
don't make any risky changes to things like system files, drivers, or registry entries

but the most reasonable thing to do is remove all traces of java from your computer and reinstalling Adoptium OpenJDK 11. Make sure you check the option to set the JAVA_HOME variable.

The issue was nvidia g-sync

Time to install Windows 10, I guess. Because 11 is shit.

for the record, the gsync fixed the legacy client but the experimental client still crashes

windows guy? recommend you uninstall all versions of Java, restart your computer, and then re-install it from this link (this is a build of OpenJRE from Eclipse) just to make sure that there's no lingering files hanging around that could mess you up. If that doesn't work, please let me know.
