As the title says, the game boots, but when I select any of the HD graphics settings, the game loads for a split second and then crashes.

Need more info, friend! According to the FAQ, Mac users are unfortunately unable to enjoy HD graphics at present.

What operating system are you using?

Never mind! It was grabbing Java 8 instead of Java 11. Had to change the directory.
